Robert Patrick Fallon

June 14, 1918 – November 4, 2011

Robert Patrick Fallon, age 93, of Westport passed away peacefully at home on Friday, November 4, 2011. Born in New York City to the late Perlie and Margaret Fallon, he lived in Westport since his retirement and move from Greenwich.

Bob Fallon was the epitome of a gentleman and a devoted husband.  His natural charm, love of music and lust for travel kept him forever young and beloved by many.  Mr. Fallon was a U.S. Army veteran and served in World War II in both Africa and Europe.  The best reward to come out of his war experience was meeting the love of his life, Jacqueline Racenet, when he was stationed in France near her parent’s home.  Jacqueline and Bob were married for over 50 years until her death in 2005.  Mr. Fallon worked for Citibank in New York all of his professional life, retiring as a Senior Vice President after many years of service.

Mr. Fallon is survived by his brother, Richard G. Fallon of Florida; nephew, Richard W. Fallon and his wife, Sharon of Myrtle Beach, SC; and niece, Diane Tomasi and her husband, Thomas of Tallahassee, FL; as well as five great nephews and great nieces.

Friends are invited to attend a Memorial Mass on Friday, November 18, 2011 at 10 a.m. directly at St. Luke Church in Westport. Interment will follow in Oak Lawn Cemetery with Military Honors.

Memorial donations may be made in Mr. Fallon’s name to the Westport Country Playhouse, 25 Powers Court, Westport, CT 06880.
