Peter Demianczyk

May 15, 1919 – July 29, 2011

Peter Demianczyk, age 92 , of Fairfield, the beloved husband of the late Anna Demianczyk, passed away peacefully in St. Vincent’s Hospital on Friday, July 29, 2011.

Born in Wysowa, Poland, he immigrated to the United States in 1964 to Ansonia.  He was a resident of Fairfield for the last thirty years.  Prior to his retirement, he was a Machinist/Toolmaker with Preston Machine.  Mr. Demianczyk was a hardworking person who loved to spend his time with his family.

He is survived by his devoted three sons,  John and his wife, Miroslawa and their daughter, Tanya of Derby, Adam of North Haven and Steve and his wife, Ok-Chu and their daughter, Danielle of AZ.  He was predeceased by nine brothers and sisters.

Friends are invited to attend the funeral on Wednesday, August 3, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. directly at Holy Protection of the Blessed Virgin Mary Ukranian Catholic Church, 457 Noble Avenue in Bridgeport.  Interment to follow in Oak Lawn Cemetery.  Friends are invited to greet his family on Tuesday, August 2, 2011 from  5-8 p.m. at the Shaughnessey Banks Funeral Home, 50 Reef Road in Fairfield.  A Panaheda Service will be held at 6:00 p.m.
