Pasquale Santangeli
February 9, 1941 - July 11, 2011
Pasquale Santangeli, age 70, the beloved husband of Pietrina Santangeli, passed away peacefully at home on July 11, 2011 surrounded by his loving family. Born in Torrice, Italy to the late Giacinto and Santina Santangeli, Patsy was a resident of Easton for over thirty years.
He was the proprietor/owner of Cinzano’s Restaurant for over twenty years and was also instrumental in opening both the Bear & Grill Restaurants in Fairfield and Orange. He was also a Real Estate Broker for the last thirty-five years and owned his own real estate agency, Santangeli Real Estate. He enjoyed developing and revitalizing properties in both the Fairfield and New Haven County areas. Above all, he enjoyed his work and family and sharing a good story with all.
In addition to his devoted wife, he is survived by his loving children, Robert & Rosa Santangeli, Cathy Santangeli & Nick Jhilal and Patsy & Kristen Santangeli, all of Easton; his brother, Rocco Santangeli of Easton; and his seven sisters, Bice Bracaglia of Fairfield, Marie Antoinette Marini of Trumbull, Silvana Santangeli of Monroe, Annuziata Santangeli of Canada, Gina Spadoni, Maria Spadoni and Lidia Amorini, all of Italy; four cherished grandchildren, John Robert, Christian, Matthew and Zackary and many nieces and nephews.
Friends are invited to attend the funeral on Friday, July 15, 2011 at 10 a.m. directly at Notre Dame of Easton Church for a Mass of Christian Burial. Entombment will follow in Oak Lawn Mausoleum. Friends may greet the family on Thursday, July 14, 2011 from 3-8 p.m. at the Shaughnessey Banks Funeral Home, 50 Reef Road in Fairfield Center.
