Minnie Scott Hull
August 28, 1921 – October 16, 2011
Minnie Scott Hull, age 90, of Fairfield, the beloved wife of the late John W. Hull, passed away on Sunday, October 16, 2011. Born in Bridgeport to the late Henry and Sarah Scott, she was a lifelong Fairfield resident.
Prior to her retirement, Minnie worked for many years at McKesson & Robbins in Fairfield.
After her retirement, she enjoyed her trips to Foxwoods Casino and travelling with her husband throughout the United States.
She is survived by her loving nieces, Marie Fodor and her husband, David of Newtown, Eva Carter of Fairfield, Eva Braca and her husband, Richard of Naugatuck, Sharon Oakley and her husband, Donald of CA and Victoria Ferino and her husband, Michael of West Haven; and nephews, Richard Sattanni of Bridgeport and Ernie, Lester and Glen Hull, all of Fairfield. She will also be missed by many great-nieces and great-nephews that cared for her dearly. In addition to her husband and parents, Minnie was preceded in death by her brothers, Zolman Scott and his wife, Dorothy and Murray Scott and his wife, Lucy; twin sister, Sylvia Pasqua and her husband, Morris and sister, Martha Korcsmaros and her husband, Frank.
Friends are invited to attend the funeral on Tuesday, October 18, 2011 (TODAY) at 1:00 p.m. with the Rabbi Suri Krieger officiating at the Shaughnessey Banks Funeral Home, 50 Reef Rd. in Fairfield Center. Interment will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery in Easton. Friends may greet the family from 11:00 a .m. until the time of service on Tuesday. Donations may be made in her memory to Vitas Hospice, 99 Hawley Lane, Suite 1204, Stratford, CT 06614. The family would like to extend a special thank-you to all of the aides for the loving care of their aunt.
