  4. Sherry Little says:

Jimmy, Brian, & Janie: I was sad to learn about your Mother’s death but I hope she passed with comfort and with love along side of her. My heart goes out the you and to the rest of your family and I hope that warm, pleasant, loving memories of your Mother will always be with you. Although I did not have much contact with Aunt Mildred in recent years, she has always had a special place in my heart. The memories I have of her when I was a child are that she was a happy person and one who tried to make others smile. She had a way about her that allowed her child-like nature to connect with the child in me, which allowed me to feel more comfortable and less afraid, so that I was more able to enjoy the world around me. I have an old home movie of Aunt Mildred and Uncle Jimmy taken at one of those famous Thanksgiving dinners in Pelham about a million years ago. But I really do not need that movie to remind me of how very special Aunt Mildred and Uncle Jimmy were and how important they were at one time in my life. I am grateful for the time I could spend with them. May you feel God’s comfort through the love, sympathy, and support from and to each other and from your extended family and friends. I love each of you and wish we could be together. Your cousin, Sherry
